Aunt Bessie’s menu of traditional-style frozen ready
meals is now offering even more choice – with five new
dishes produced at Headland Foods.
Hull-based Tryton Foods chose us to work with them on expanding
their hugely popular range following the success of Aunt Bessie’s
Cottage Pie which we began producing at Grimsby in early 2004.
Deputy Managing Director Richard Majewski said: “Aunt
Bessie’s has become the fastest growing brand in frozen
foods, and our further involvement is yet another indication
of our company’s high quality output.”
The new recipes include two giant Yorkshire pudding meals
– one filled with Sausage Casserole and one with Beef
Steak in Gravy. The other three meals are Chicken Stew and
Beef Stew, both served with Dumplings, and a classic Minced
Beef Cobbler. John Hendy, Commercial Director at Tryton, commented:
“Headland has proved to be the perfect partner in ensuring
our mid-week meal offerings deliver all the taste and quality
of food that has been cooked in the home from scratch.”
